South Point to launch Real Gaming online poker

From iGaming Business – Las-Vegas based South Point Hotel Casino and Spa is to launch its real-money Nevada online poker room under the in-house Real Gaming brand.

According to recentpoker.com, the company has been building up its proprietary online poker software capability for some time after it was handed an online poker license in August of 2012. Such is the development of this software that South Point missed its original target to launch last year.

Global Cash Access, provider of integrated casino solutions, is reported to be Real Gaming’s payment processor and will facilitate both cash outs and deposits.

In preparation for the expected launch, South Point has been operating a play-for-free website at southpointpoker.com using Zen Entertainment software. Mark Gaughan, South Point chief executive officer, confirmed Zen would not power the real-money version.
