There has been  reported growth for New Jersey online gaming for the month of February. Internet gaming win last month in the US state amounted to $22m (€17.8m), which is 17.5% more than in February last year. Most credit card charges not accepted for New Jersey online gaming

Charlotte Observer – Since New Jersey began Internet gambling in November, it has been difficult to use a credit card to fund an online betting account. New statistics from a company that routes those payments show just how hard it has been. New Jersey online gaming brought in 15 percent more from online gambling in March over the previous month, but it wasn’t nearly enough to offset the diminishing revenue from Atlantic City’s long-struggling brick-and-mortar casinos. Bloomberg – Revenue from online gambling in New Jersey has failed drastically to reach expectations, even if industry observers won’t call it a bust after just five months. New Jersey’s state treasurer estimated last year that legal online gambling would net Atlantic City casinos as much as $1.2 billion in its first year—bringing in roughly $180 million in tax revenue for the state. Herald Online – Fitch reaffirms its 2014 forecast for New Jersey online gaming revenues in the $200 million – $300 range as we expect meaningful sequential growth to continue throughout the year.
