News emanating from top American news outlets has unequivocally confirmed that the American Gaming Association has officially taken sides with 20 American states to support New Jersey’s quest to legalize sports betting and casino in the state. The American Gaming Association has joined with several states the New Jersey sports betting battle. The AGA and the states have filed  briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court in support of New Jersey’s attempts to offer betting on sporting events in the state. New Jersey Regulates Fantasy Sports

New Jersey has joined the expanding list of US states that have passed legislation that allows and regulates daily fantasy sports (DFS). State Governor Chris Christie signed bill A-3532 yesterday (Thursday), after it was given approval by the Senate back in June. New Jersey becomes the 16th state in the US to legalise DFS within its borders. DFS operators will be subject to a tax rate of 10.5% on all revenue collected via activities in New Jersey. MGM Adds Second Online Casino for New Jersey

MGM Resorts has officially launched its second internet casino in New Jersey, this one, called playMGM. The Las Vegas-based company’s new online destination in New Jersey will be offering poker and casino games under the more globally recognized MGM banner, and will also incorporate play into their rewards program.
