Station Casinos President Killed in July 4th Accident

The Station Casinos President, Richard Haskins, was killed in a jet ski accident over the holiday weekend while on vacation in Michigan. He was 56 years old. The accident occurred around 2 p.m. in Emmet County Michigan, where the Sheriff’s Office said Mr. Haskins was riding a Sea-Doo jet ski which collided with a Magnum powerboat. Haskins was taken to a launch area and pronounced dead by emergency personnel. Authorities are investigating. A person from the Sheriff’s Office declined to confirm details. Churchill, Wynn, and Station Casinos to Join AGA

The Washington, D.C.-based American Gaming Association (AGA) announced Tuesday it would add three new members, including Wynn Resorts Ltd. and Station Casinos. Racetrack and casino operator Churchill Downs Inc. also will join the organization, which represents the commercial gaming industry on Capitol Hill. All three companies will add representatives to American Gaming Association’s board of directors. Wynn Resorts Chairman Steve Wynn is expected to join the board.
