UK Gambling Commission revokes Bodugi’s licence

UK CommissioniGaming Business – The UK Gambling Commission has confirmed it has revoked the remote operating licence of social betting company Bodugi following a review of the firm.

As reported by iGaming Business, the regulator had originally suspended the company’s licence after it had been made aware of a number of concerns.

The Gambling Commission said it had taken the decision to revoke the licence under sections 117(2)(f) and 119(1) of the Gambling Act 2005.

The regulator said the reasons for revocation were that Bodugi is “unsuitable to carry out its licensed activities in a manner which is consistent with the licensing objectives”, as well as the licensee having “failed to cooperate with this review” and that “one or more conditions of the licence has been breached”.
