State residents hoping to place a wager on the Bears game will be disappointed to hear that betting on sports in Illinois this year is almost certainly not possible. Illinois sports betting becomes a reality after their governor signed a massive gambling expansion bill which he called “the most comprehensive reconstruction effort in this state’s history”.
