Google Allows Some Gambling Ads in America

Google has updated its gambling and games policy, authorizing some gambling ads in America. States where sports betting services will be allowed to advertise include Rhode Island, Montana, Indiana, Iowa and Pennsylvania.

Those five states now join Nevada, New Jersey and West Virginia in Google’s “limited beta” program for gambling ads in America, which was launched in June as the company tries to keep pace with the expansion of legal sports betting.

The limited beta program will permit operators to promote their services via Google Display Network, Google Ads, AdMob and YouTube but would be restricted in promoting online sports betting services through Google Ad Manager.
