Voters are set to make a decision on Colorado sports betting next month when Proposition DD is put before them. The measure would legalize and regulate sports betting through online or mobile sports platforms operated by casinos. Recent polls show more voters support sports betting than oppose it, Rep. Less Than 30% of Voters Favor Colorado Sports Betting

Gambling on sporting events will be paraded out to voters this fall, but a new BettingUSA.com survey has found that only 29% are in favor of Colorado sports betting. The survey was conducted via Google between June 2nd and 5th of this year and collected 5,000 responses from people age 18 and older who were located in the state. Governor Jared Polis has signed a bill that will allow a Colorado sports betting vote this November. The measure will be put to voters and needs to be approved in order to become law. The bill was introduced on April 18th and quickly passed the state’s legislative progress in both the House and Senate, and was waiting on the signature of the Governor.
