Big Stuff Happening at Venetian Las Vegas

There’s a lot going on at the Venetian Las Vegas these days! They just got a brand new sports book and they’re bringing in some exciting concerts! However, one of their changes is not sitting well with their guests… even though it’s one of the nicest properties in Las Vegas... and no one can argue that.

Hello friends, and welcome to This Week in Gambling, where We’ve Got Rhythm… and We’ve Got Music… but we start with this week’s big story! There’s a lot going down at Venetian Las Vegas these days. After all, they are one of the nicest properties in Las Vegas… no one can argue that. So it only stands to reason that they would want to select the nicest, most sophisticated, top of the line sportsbook for their casino. And with that in mind, they’ve decided to go with: Yahoo!?

Yes, the Yahoo! Sportsbook will soon become part of the casino floor at the Venetian, but don’t let the name fool you. It’s really just the William Hill Sportsbook in disguise, only Yahoo! gets to slap their name on it, because the same people who own Yahoo! are  the same people who run the Venetian! Ain’t that convenient!

And since the Venetian Las Vegas is one of the nicest properties in town (and no one can argue that) it only makes sense that they would want the best, most sophisticated, top of the line musical acts as well! And that is why they’re bringing back… The B-52s!? Don’t get me wrong I love me some Rock Lobster and Quiche Lorraine! And now the B-52s are leaving their own Private Idaho to continue their  Las Vegas residency at the Venetian with shows into April of next year!

Of course, it wasn’t all good news from Sin City this week, as both the Venetian and the Palazzo announced an end to free parking for most all of their paying guests… and why not? After all they are one of the nicest properties in Las Vegas… no one can argue that. Some have speculated that the reason the Venetian is ending their free parking is the Las Vegas Sphere, which has rapidly become the biggest free show in town.  And since the Sphere is located at the Venetian, guess whose parking garage everyone is flocking to in order to get an up close free look at the show?

Now, if you want to watch the Sphere show without walking to Venetian Las Vegas… or paying to park in their garage… or even traveling to Las Vegas for that matter… we got you covered with our release of two new videos showing the Sphere in action, uncut, in all its glory! Our front row look at the show was shot on a steady, tripod mounted, high definition camera… and we even added music to enhance your experience! Both shows together run over 24 minutes, and you can find them on our YouTube channel right now!
