California tribal casino partners with MGM Resorts for rewards

MGM GrandBiz Journals – Thunder Valley Casino Resort launched a joint marketing relationship with MGM Resorts International where they now share rewards benefits.

The reciprocal relationship means Thunder Valley customers with rewards programs can get discounts and special officers at MGM resorts in Las Vegas, and MGM rewards program customers can use their cards at Thunder Valley.

Some of the shared member benefits include things such as personalized offers on hotel rooms, offers on dining and free casino play.

“Thunder Valley is thrilled to be partnering with world-renowned MGM Resorts International and their prestigious Las Vegas properties to offer our Thunder Rewards members a new gaming experience that is uniquely Vegas,” Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort, said in a news release. “We are confident our guests will be impressed by the fabulous amenities and benefits available at MGM Resorts properties in Las Vegas. In turn, we can’t wait to extend our four diamond hospitality to M life players as they visit Thunder Valley, the largest gaming resort in Northern California.”

In Las Vegas, MGM (NYSE: MGM) operates the Bellagio, Aria, Vdara, MGM Grand, The Signature at MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Hotel at Mandalay Bay, The Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor and Excalibur resorts, casinos and hotels.

Lincoln-based Thunder Valley Casino Resort has 250,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 2,500 slot machines, 135 table games, 14 restaurants, several bars and a spa and luxury hotel.
