West Info – The number of Italian companies specialized in betting and gaming sector has increased, in one year, by 32.1%. Reaching, in 2013, almost 9,300 units. The most significant growth was recorded in Emilia-Romagna: +80%. While Lombardy ranks first at national level as far as the highest number of this type od enterprises is concerned: 1,342, accounting for 14.5% of the Italian total (+43.4% in one year). Followed by Campania (1,278, 13.8%) and Lazio (1,046, 11.3%). This is what emerges from an elaboration of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan on the figures from the register of companies in the first quarter of 2012 and 2013.
