Hard Rock Las Vegas Sets 2025 Open Date

Those of you waiting for the Hard Rock Las Vegas to open will have to wait a little longer. Even with all the talk of shutting down The Mirage and it’s iconic volcano attraction, the new resort won’t be ready to welcome guests for at least another two and a half years.

The company recently put out a press release with details about their plans. When referring to their new property on The Strip, Hard Rock stated that it would be “set to open in 2025”, but did not get more specific than that.

One point of curiosity for guests and residents alike is whether or not the hotel will have to close during the rebranding process. It seems likely to us that they would need to shut down for at least some amount of time, as Hard Rock has confirmed plans to build a new guitar-shaped hotel on the property.

One thing that hasn’t been discussed a lot in the media is that the Hard Rock company is owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. That means that the Hard Rock Las Vegas officially opens it will be the first Tribal Casino on the Strip.

There are two other casinos in Las Vegas currently under the control of Tribal Gaming: The Palms and the casino attached to the Virgin Hotel. However, neither of those properties is actually located on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The Hard Rock Las Vegas is only one of several new properties for the company, as expansion plans have also included the upscale Hard Rock New York in Manhattan, the Hard Rock Marbella in Spain, and the Hard Rock Athens which is set to open in 2026.
