Resorts World Las Vegas Opens This Week

The wait for the newest property on The Strip is over, as Resorts World Las Vegas will begin to welcome their first guests this week on Thursday, June 24th. In addition to being the new kid on the block, they are also touting themselves as “the most technologically advanced”. And with some of the amenities and features they are promising, that statement is not a stretch of the imagination.

First, the resort will have cashless betting for the games on their casino floor. Utilizing the SYNKROS System from Konami Gaming, players will deposit money to a digital gaming wallet. That wallet can be linked to a bank account, credit card, debit card or even PayPal.

Resorts World will also have what they call “Smart Tables”, where casino chips are RFID embedded and provide 100% accuracy on all gaming activity. There is also a “Ticket-in/Ticket-out” function which lets players move between slots and table games using vouchers with no need for ticket redemption.

Resorts World Las Vegas has 1,400 slot machines and 117 table games spread across their 117,000 square foot casino floor. There is also a dedicated sports book, a poker room with 30 tables, and high-limit areas.
