Las Vegas Cinco de Mayo is always bigger and better! And this year, Sin City has everything you could possibly want to enjoy the holiday, including fiestas, margaritas, Latin DJs, and concerts… even a fight or two, ya know, so you don’t have to get drunk and start one yourself. And that’s where our show kicks off with PBC Fight Night at T-Mobile Arena. There are eight bouts on the card, and two Mexican fighters in the main event. David Benavidez and Gilberto Ramirez, squaring off on Saturday, May 2nd.
But before the boys can lace up the gloves, several major Las Vegas concerts will be taking place over the long weekend, including Morgan Wallen at Allegiant Stadium, and Phish at the Sphear. The ageless wonder Cyndi Lauper will be packing them in at Caesar’s Palace. And if you stick around until after the holiday, you could catch No Doubt as they open their Las Vegas residency on the 6th. If you miss No Doubt, no worries. They will be at the Sphere through June 13th… at least.
Now turning our attention to the Las Vegas Cinco de Mayo parties and the bar crawls, you can soak up the sun and take in the rhythms of several popular DJs playing the daytime beach clubs, including the Grammy winning Zedd at Tao… and DJ Pauly D finds his way from the Jersey Shore to the Marquee Day Club. Producer and DJ Dillon Francis will stop in at the Encore Beach Club over the weekend, while the popular Mexican-American DJ and radio host Yo Yolie will visit Omnia.
Once the sun goes down, the parties go on with another Mexican-American DJ, Deorro, who will also take over the Omnia nightclub on May 1st, with Tiesto following on May 2nd. And if you want to take the party on the road, there’s always the bar crawls taking place near the strip and then downtown. One of them will even feed you tacos! Before we tell you about the fiestas and the festivals, we realize not everyone will be able to make it to Las Vegas for the holiday, but you can still bring a little bit of Sin City Cinco de Mayo Celebration home. We just published our review for the new Piñata Pays Grande slot machine from our friends at AGS, a follow-up to the player favorite original.
Finally this week, the fiestas and the festivals taking place all around Sin City, including a celebration that gets started before we even get into May. Plus, something for the “senior” crowd at Suncoast Casino. And of course, the big one: The Fremont Street Festival, taking place (when else?) May 5th! So, that’s a quick rundown of the major Las Vegas Cinco de Mayo events. If we helped you make your plans, how about a quick like?
