The annual Ultimate Contest Weekend is officially returning to Circa Resort and Casino in downtown Las Vegas from August 27 through August 29. The highly anticipated three day event is designed to kick off the football season and celebrate participants registered in the sportsbooks major pro football handicapping competitions.
The operator is hosting this Ultimate Contest Weekend to bring together entrants of its popular sports betting competitions, which include Circa Survivor, Circa Million, and the high stakes Circa Grandissimo. This year, the brand has raised the stakes by offering a historic 30 million dollar total prize pool across its various football contests with no rake taken by the house.
The schedule for the Ultimate Contest Weekend includes multiple exclusive networking events, parties, and panels. Activities begin on Thursday, August 27, with a live Radio Row broadcast inside the Galaxy Ballroom, where sports betting media outlets, podcasters, and personalities will discuss the upcoming football season. On Thursday evening, a welcome reception will be held at BarCanada, located at sister property the D Las Vegas, where participants can mingle with executives and past winners.
Events continue on Friday, August 28, with a second day of Radio Row broadcasts. Registered participants can also attend a private open bar event at Stadium Swim, the multi tiered pool amphitheater at Circa. Later that day, eligible entrants can compete in a blackjack shootout tournament featuring ten thousand dollars in futures betting prizes, followed by an evening mixer at the rooftop Legacy Club.
The Ultimate Contest Weekend concludes on Saturday, August 29, with the annual football preview panel. Hosted by Circa Vice President of Operations Mike Palm, this interactive session allows the general public and contest entrants to ask questions and receive insights from a group of sports betting experts.
To accommodate out of state participants, proxy services will be available on site throughout the Ultimate Contest Weekend to facilitate required in person registrations. To reward contestants, the resort is offering complimentary or discounted hotel stays at its downtown properties based on the total number of entries purchased. All attendees participating in the festivities must be at least 21 years of age.
